I’m in love ... sometimes it’s so hard to sell things. But this little cutie is looking for his new forever home and he’s sure to make you smile ... :)
Oh My ... This was my first attempt at homemade Tiramisu and it went down a treat. I used Maida Heatters recipe, from her wonderful book ‘Happiness Is Baking’. Its quite rich and extremely boozy, which definitely made for a happy desert. 😌
One tip, as tempting as it may be, be sure to follow Maidas advice and leave it in the fridge overnight. Makes all the difference ... Yum. If you fancy a pre Christmas grown up treat, this pudding will tick all the boxes. Enjoy ... :)
(SORRY SOLD, but more on the way).
This little fellow just landed in our shop and is looking for a new home for Christmas ...
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas around here and I’m loving every minute. We’ve all been battling a nasty virus over the last couple of weeks, so it was lovely to see the twinkling lights go up on the tree. Really brightened my day ... big grin :) Anyway, we’re hoping to get some decorations on it tomorrow, which should be lots of fun. I love pulling things out of boxes and unwrapping all the memories. On a different note, we also have snow forecast for next week ... I’ve got all my fingers crossed for a white Christmas. Snowballs and sledding would make for a wonderful day ...
Hi Guys ... Just wanted to give you all a quick update and share some exciting news. We've opened a shop on Folksy ... It will run alongside our homestead store, so will basically carry the same stock. We're busy listing items at the moment, but if you can't find something you're looking for please drop us a message.
If you'd like to take a peek, just click the link below ... we'd love to see you there, it's a great community of crafters ... :)
Someone else had his eye on the cake ... “If I just stick me tongue out a little further, maybe I can taste it” ... such a loveable pup and one of the sweetest dogs I know.
It’s birthday season in my house again and I’m busy baking cakes. I had such fun making this little chap. The base is a chocolate fudge cake, with chocolate fudge frosting and the bone is a vanilla swiss roll. I covered the bone and sculpted the puppy with fondant icing. Phew ... think It’s time for a nice cup of tea ... :)
French knitting’s not just for children ... I’m spending a fun filled evening making natural hemp wrap bracelets. It’s also the perfect excuse to break out my bead tin ... happiness in a box :) So far my week’s looking bright, hope it’s the same for you ...
I love random acts of kindness, those little gestures that give back and make other people smile. So I had a little think about the people in my life and decided to knit a few soft chunky wraps. This time of year it’s always good to have something cosy and warm to snuggle into ... 🥶 Two down, two to go ... made with so much love ... :)
There’s a crisp winter chill all around and the smell of log fires hangs pungently in the air. Everyday the snow is creeping just a little bit closer. I can’t wait ... sleds at the ready :)
