A late afternoon harvest for dinner tonight, yummy broad beans and some beautiful corn on the cob.
It’s our first time growing any kind of corn and to be honest we weren’t expecting much, especially growing in the Highlands of Scotland. But we thought we’d give it a go and plant some in the Polycrub. I’m so glad we did, it’s been such fun watching it grow and there was great excitement when we actually saw the first corn appearing. I think it’s definitely something we’ll try again next year, as it was so easy to grow and seemed to love the Polycrub environment.
Now for the taste test … fingers crossed 🤞Â
