It’s definitely cosy season over here … not much we can do in the garden right now. Oh, well … I’m embracing this slower pace of life and spending more time in the kitchen trying out new recipes. So far we’ve made butter and used the remaining buttermilk to make some Scandinavian cinnamon cake bread … so good, think cinnamon roll vibes but in a loaf cake. We’ve also made English muffins (spread thickly with the homemade butter … yum, no apologies 😋) and today I’m going to attempt focaccia … maybe make some bagels tomorrow.
I’m really enjoying myself and there’s definitely no complaints from my family.
