Fresh Bread Rolls …

We love fresh bread, but I fancied a change from our usual loaves. After mulling it over for a while, I decided to make some soft white rolls … so yummy. I can’t believe how well they turned out … definitely an instant success, and now firm favourite with my family.
I used my basic dough recipe (adding 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds to the mix), then popped the mixture in my bread machine to prepare the dough. This was a real time saver and allowed me to make a pasta sauce for supper whilst the dough was proving. 
Once the dough was ready and rolled into balls, I added an egg wash and a sprinkle of salt and pepper over the top before baking. 
The smell of the bread baking was absolutely heavenly and the rolls were the perfect lunchtime treat … I have a feeling I’ll be making many more in the future … 😅😋🥖
