It’s beetroot time again and that makes me so happy. This crop is so easy to grow, so tasty and you can use the leaves as well. We use so many of these delicious vegetables that I never have enough left to pickle / preserve … I really must remember to plant more next year !!!
I think I’m going to surprise my family this weekend and bake a chocolate and beetroot cake … maybe some cream cheese frosting on top ?😋
As always I’m so grateful for our beautiful garden and all the food that it provides. 🥰
