We moved our rhubarb to a new location this year, and it’s thriving in a beautiful new raised bed. These raised beds have been an absolute game changer for me and my back. No more problems weeding and a joy to grow with. We’ve had tonnes of rhubarb so far this summer and have loads more yet to come. I like to keep a big pot of it in my fridge (stewed), it’s just so easy to dip into when needed.
I’m planning on making a vanilla sponge this afternoon, and pair it with some rhubarb and custard … sounds good to me and I’m sure my family will love it too. 😋
If you have a chance to plant some rhubarb in your garden, I’d highly recommend it. It’s so easy to grow and comes back year after year … 😃
