I forget how many weeks, but we’re still in lock down. But summer is here and it’s so nice to throw open the widows and get outside. Seemingly overnight my garden has exploded into life and my rhubarb, mint and chives have gone crazy ... it makes me so happy.
I’ve also been busy in the kitchen, playing around with new recipe ideas. After a few attempts, these scone slices definitely got the vote of approval. They’re my go to now, for an emergency lunch or just a yummy treat for afternoon tea (I’ve popped the recipe down below, just in case you want to take a peek). Either way, it’s big smiles all round. 😋
Anyway, I’m off to photograph and list some more of my winter knitting & hand stitched cards ... It’s turning into quite the job. I seriously didn’t realise how many I’d made.😅
