Phew ... we finally got the new picnic table assembled and ready for our holiday let cottage. It was a bit of a jigsaw puzzle and arrived with no instructions ... always fun. But after a bit of head scratching and a few mistakes, we eventually figured it out ... I think it looks great and I can’t wait to use it in the future ... :)

It’s a wet and rainy day out there, so I took some time this morning to work on some spring themed Mother’s Day cards. I think Daffodils are definitely one of my favourites ... such a happy little flower, it always makes me smile ... :) Xx
Afternoon all ... I’m just popping in for a quick shop update - ahead of Mother’s Day - to share some new handmade goodies with you. I’ve been busy beavering away and having lots of fun with my beads and charms. I’ve just added some new keyrings, bag charms, lanyards and bookmarks to our shop. The bookmarks include a string of miracle beads, which glisten and glow in a certain light ... such fun and I love making them. I’ve also been working on some new hand stitched card designs, I’m completely in love with the sloths, I’ll definitely be making more ... so cute :) Xx Yay ... Spring is nearly here and we’re back out in the garden. It’s bright and sunny, but boy is it chilly ... and we’re still getting that covering of ice overnight. Anyway, it was finally back to work on the greenhouse yesterday and we managed to fit this gorgeous vintage door knob. I love it and the fact I can lock myself in for some quiet time if needed. I just need a comfy chair, a good book and a nice cup of tea I’ve also popped my first plants in it, so very exciting. I'm off to plant some seeds this afternoon: hot chilli, sweet peppers, aubergine, alpine strawberries and some sweet peas. Today is a happy day ... please stay safe Xx |
