My fruit trees just make me happy, beautiful blossoms in the Spring and gorgeous fruits to follow. We have a heavy crop of apples this year, looking really good ... even in the rain. They need a few more weeks ... but looking forward to baking with them and seeing them in my fruit bowl. Life is good ... 😃🍎

As things slow down in the garden, I get out my yarn and knit. I do have a machine as well, but for some reason I always come back to my needles. I’m hoping to make a scarf ... love the colours so far ... 🤞
I love my little chilli plant ... it has produced so well this year. My first job of the day is to dehydrate these little beauties ... can’t wait. Good job my family like spicy food ...
Homegrown Blueberries ...
A little handful of heaven, they taste amazing ... 😋 We planted two bushes this year as a test ... they’ve done brilliantly, will definitely be adding more next year. So excited ... and delighted in equal measure. Success ... I am so grateful for the natural beauty around us ... I never take these amazing views for granted. So incredibly lucky to see it everyday ...
My first attempt at making layered soap (Oatmeal and Peppermint) earlier this year. We had so much fun with it ... but this batch is all but gone. Guess it’s time to make some more.
I only use natural colours and organic essential oils, so trying to decide what to make next. Thinking that Lemon and Poppyseed might be nice ... We held our breath and planted our first ever onion set this year. So glad we did, a real joy to watch them grow. But harvesting was even better ... makes all the hard work worthwhile.
We’ve had a fantastic crop of chives this year. Enough for daily cooking and plenty for the freezer. The flowers also attracted an amazing amount of butterflies ... so pretty.
