A late night ... trying to figure out the best way, of fixing this beautiful reclaimed window above our pantry door. Not as easy as I first thought ... So thankful to have such a patient husband, who always finds a way to make these projects work ...

My latest vintage find ... I used to love to write, play around with words and reflect on my day. For some reason over the years, this just stopped and I really miss it ... so I’m hoping this little treasure will inspire me. Can’t wait to find a nice spot in the garden and get started again ... Happy Sunday everyone ... XX  So, this beautiful old timer (JCB 3C mk3) arrived today and I’m so excited. At 40yrs old, it’s still mechanically sound and starts first time. Does need some TLC, but my son can weld and my husbands an engineer ... luckily both are happy to fix it up. I can’t wait to use it, should make life so much easier around here ... big long list of jobs to get done this summer. Just popped some yummy ‘Mac and Cheese’ in the oven ... a treat for the weekend. Oh my goodness, it smells so good ...  My ducks and chickens are such good girls and back to laying their beautiful eggs after the long cold winter. As I’m getting so many eggs at the moment, I plan to freeze some ... hopefully build up a nice store ready for later in the year. I love Spring ...  |
