A quick trip out to Nethy Bridge, for a New Years Eve Walk ... and paddle 🥳 No snow, but beautiful blue skies and misty mountains on the horizon. Anyway, Happy Hogmanay from Scotland and I hope 2020 brings you all love, health, happiness and adventure ... 😃🥂👋

Out for a walk by the River Livet ... cold and frosty this morning, but such good fun. Nice to be outside ... ☺️
So grateful for my wonderful family and all their help. We’ve just finished planting over 500 daffodil bulbs ... have to say, no small task. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, but never quite got around to. But this year ... SUCCESS !!! I’m so excited for Spring and can’t wait to see what pops up. I’m hoping for a cascade of yellow happiness ... fingers crossed ... 🤞🌼😅
Happy Wednesday ... 👋
Just a quick announcement ... I’m excited to say, we can now take international orders via our folksy.com shop. Just look for us there @ Heelan’ Homestead Ltd. All international orders will be sent out Royal Mail 1st Class Track and Sign. 😃 Sorry it’s taken me a while, but I’ve finally managed to knit some more of these cute little baby boots. I’m in love with them and really enjoy making them ... so ... two more pairs have just been popped into the shop. Cosy toes for Christmas ... 🥰👶🎄
Phew ... it’s been a busy week for us all. I must admit I’m looking forward to Christmas and a well earned break. It’s looking festive in our house and my mind keeps wandering onto Christmas baking ... I can’t wait to get back in my kitchen.
In the meantime, I’m just trying to catch up with a wee shop update ... These cute little miniature goats have just been listed, if you’d like to take a peek. They are hand sculpted from polymer clay, then hand painted and varnished. Each one has its own unique markings and little character ... sure to make you smile. 🐐😊🎄 Having started wearing glasses a few years ago, for reading and close up work. I would always put them down and lose them ... especially outside in the garden. 🤯😅 So I decided to try a chain ... but didn’t really like the ones available. Now I make my own and I’m in love with seed beads. I’m always looking for ways to jazz things up a bit and make it fun. My latest discovery (and I’m slightly obsessed), miracle beads. These little wonders will literally glow in certain lights and take on a life of their own. I seriously get so many positive comments about them. So in an attempt to spread some happiness and smiles, here’s the first one ready for the shop ... 🤓❤️
I’m in love ... sometimes it’s so hard to sell things. But this little cutie is looking for his new forever home and he’s sure to make you smile ... :)
