Someone else had his eye on the cake ... “If I just stick me tongue out a little further, maybe I can taste it” ... such a loveable pup and one of the sweetest dogs I know.

It’s birthday season in my house again and I’m busy baking cakes. I had such fun making this little chap. The base is a chocolate fudge cake, with chocolate fudge frosting and the bone is a vanilla swiss roll. I covered the bone and sculpted the puppy with fondant icing. Phew ... think It’s time for a nice cup of tea ... :)
French knitting’s not just for children ... I’m spending a fun filled evening making natural hemp wrap bracelets. It’s also the perfect excuse to break out my bead tin ... happiness in a box :) So far my week’s looking bright, hope it’s the same for you ...
https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/flower-knitting-dolly/642726-1000?_br_psugg_q=french+knitting I love random acts of kindness, those little gestures that give back and make other people smile. So I had a little think about the people in my life and decided to knit a few soft chunky wraps. This time of year it’s always good to have something cosy and warm to snuggle into ... 🥶 Two down, two to go ... made with so much love ... :) There’s a crisp winter chill all around and the smell of log fires hangs pungently in the air. Everyday the snow is creeping just a little bit closer. I can’t wait ... sleds at the ready :)
I can’t believe it’s Guy Fawkes already, this year has zipped by ... Hot dogs, bonfire and some wonderful fireworks, it really was a fun evening. I love this time of year ... 😃
The men in the family made homemade butter this afternoon ... yum. Think I’m up next to make some scones. 😄 But seriously, it was so easy with the Kilner churn and you only need double cream. Well worth having a go. 😋https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZ6VrFB2dwM
