Over the winter you’ll often find me in the kitchen. But today is special ... we’re putting up our Christmas Tree. So to add to the festivities, I rustled up some homemade tomato soup, home baked bread and some yummy sausage rolls. Great excitement all round and very happy tummies. From our family to yours ... have a wonderful, fun filled weekend ... 🎄🤗

If you’d like to take a peek, I’ve just popped two of these gorgeous hare brooches in the shop ... so cute. Both are needle felted by hand ... 😍
It took me a while, but I’ve finally finished my first pair of baby boots. I’m really happy with how they’ve turned out, so think I’ll be popping them in the shop. Excited to make some more in different colours ... :)
We had a power cut today, so it’s the perfect opportunity to show my boys how to use our Kelly Kettle. We used a firesteel to light it, pure magic to an 8 year old. Think they were actually disappointed when the power came back on ... tea anyone
We packed up all our handmade goodies on Friday and took them along to a local craft fair in Forres. We had a great weekend ... a bit chilly, but big smiles all round.
I love my vintage scales and use them every day ... just in the middle of making todays bread. I found them quite by chance, sitting in a bookshop. Feeling brave I made the store a cheeky offer for them ... absolutely delighted when they excepted it. I wouldn’t be without them now, one of my favourite kitchen tools ...
Hot baked bread cooling on a rack, really has to be one of my favourite smells. So yummy ... Never fails to bring people running to the kitchen with a smile on their face ...
